Spring Benefit

Skate Night

Our annual PS 267 Skate Night at Wollman Rink is RESCHEDULED to Friday, Mar. 13th from 5pm-8pm. Make sure to sign the waiver. Reach out to Jackie Ramkumar & Jeannice Tse with any questions, jackie.ramkumar@gmail.com

 

TICKETS:

• Tickets have been distributed in students' orange folders this week. If you have more than one child at PS 267, it was sent in your older child's folder.

• The PTA cannot replace any lost tickets - you are responsible for bringing your tickets to gain entry to Wollman.

• If you still would like to attend, the sale for our group rate has ended, but you can still purchase tickets at Wollman Rink or in advance at wollmanrinknyc.com.  Please book for 5pm entry or later.

• Please note that the rink remains open to the public.

• Friends and family are welcome to join! PS 267 alumni too!
  
  

WAIVER:

• If you ordered tickets through the PTA, you must fill out a waiver at this link: PS 267 Skating Event Waiver.

• Link to the waiver form can also be found on the PTA website as well as on the envelope that tickets are coming home in.

• Everyone must fill out a waiver - one for each child and also each adult, even those that are chaperones and not skating.   

• Please have the waiver confirmation email sent from Wollman available on your phone when you arrive on Friday. You will be asked to present it to gain entry.

 

EVENT DETAILS:

• Our suggested arrival time from Wollman is from 4:45pm until 5:15pm. We have access to the Group Entrance line during this time; anyone arriving outside of this time has to enter via General Admission. This coincides with a 6pm ice cleaning.  We encourage you to come in at this time to get skates on, find your friends and get ready to go if you’d like to hit the ice soon as the rink opens back up. Your ticket is good for entry at any point in the event, and once you are in, you can stay as long as you want!
  

• Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Wollman Cafe.

• Dress warmly! Feel free to wear PS 267 Spirit Wear over jackets!

• Look out for the PS 267 signs so we can gather together off the ice.

• Please remember that this is not a drop off event and children need to be supervised.

• There are skate aids and lockers available for rent if required.

• If the weather is bad on Friday, our event will only cancel if Wollman closes the rink to the public. We will be in touch if this happens. Wollman's Instagram account also posts information about changes to opening and closing.

• If our event does get cancelled because of weather, we will be in touch about a new date.

Our March PTA Meeting is taking place on Tuesday, Mar. 24th at 8:45am in the school cafeteria. At this important PTA Meeting, Ms. McEvoy will present the state of the school, and we will discuss upcoming fundraisers and PTA events!

Spring Benefit & Auction

Exciting news—our auction website will go live on Monday, March 9th at 9:00am! To be ready, please sign up and register on the auction website now. Registering on Givesmart allows you to participate in both the live and silent auctions, so it’s important that everyone signs up. Registration only takes a few minutes and is the only way to bid on our incredible items.

The silent auction will close on Sunday, March 15th at 7:00pm.

Teacher / Staff Experience Raffle

Each year, as part of our Spring Benefit & Auction, Teachers & Staff at PS 267 generously donate their time for special outings with the students. These outings are very popular with the families of PS 267 because they offer a special opportunity for students to spend time with a favorite teacher or staff member, one-on-one or with a friend. Purchase now to win an exciting lunch date, an ice cream social or pizza party with your favorite teacher or staff member. Raffle tickets are on sale, and can be purchased individually for $20, or as a sheet of 6 for $100. Questions, email news@ps267.org 

Picture Day

Picture Day photos are online and ready to view. Read-A-Thon

Congratulations to all of our students for participating in Read-A-Thon! The grade winner was 4th grade, and they will receive an extra celebration in the coming days. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this fundraiser a success as we raised over $20,000 to fund school programming!

Accessing your child's class list has never been easier. Update your information (including child's class and teacher) at PS267.org under 'My Account'. You will then have access to the school-wide and class directory. It is updated automatically, when classmates add their information you will have immediate access to it! Reminder - class lists are to be used solely for the purpose of school announcements, scheduling playdates, birthday celebrations, and other school related functions.
